Mindfulness 101: Am I Doing This Right? (In-person)
July 17, 2021 @ 2:15 pm - 3:45 pm
*** NOTE: This is our return to IN-PERSON events. 😊 (Online events won’t be going away; they will alternate with the in-person events.) ***
As we find ourselves in another transition period, let’s get back to basics about what we’re doing — and not doing — as part of a mindfulness meditation practice. This session will be a great introduction for new practitioners and the merely curious, as well as an opportunity for experienced (or lapsed 😉 ) meditators to refocus.
This session will follow our usual format: we’ll open with a brief talk, followed by a 25-minute guided meditation and a Q+A/discussion period.
I’m looking forward to sitting and sharing with you all once again!
*** LOCATION ***
We’ll be meeting in the Watertown Savings Bank room on the first floor of the Watertown Public Library. The room is down the hallway right by the main desk. Feel free to bring cushions, pillows, etc. for our sitting, and there are chairs available if that’s preferred.
*** SAFETY ***
Please note the following from the library’s policy page and feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions:
“You are required to:
Wear a mask while using the children’s and teen rooms, regardless of vaccination status.
Follow CDC and Massachusetts mask and social distancing guidance for unvaccinated people.
Masks are recommended for all people in the library.”
