New Year, New Karma? (Second chance! 😊)
January 29, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Staples Spotlight asked if I’d lead some sessions at their new community spaces; the “New Year, New Karma?” session a couple of weeks ago had a long waiting list, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to offer it again for those who couldn’t get in last time. And who says you can’t find inner peace amidst post-its and paper clips? 😄
**NOTE**
This is a free event, but Staples Spotlight events require registration due to limited space. Here’s the link:

**DESCRIPTION**
The concept of karma has gotten a bit twisted across time and space. We won’t have time to delve TOO deeply into this critical pillar of Buddhist teachings, but we can reframe it to more closely align with its original meaning (which I find to be far more optimistic than our common Westernized interpretation). The new year seems like a great time to do so!
The format will be similar to our previous meetups: some quick intros, a brief talk called “New Year, New Karma?,” a 25ish-minute sitting, and time for Q+A and general discussion.
**LOCATION**
The Staples Spotlight Woburn location is at 335 Washington St.; you’ll find the Spotlight meeting room at the back of the store. Feel free to bring cushions, pillows, etc. for our sitting, and there are chairs available if that’s preferred.
Looking forward to breaking in a new space! Remember to register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/new-year-new-karma-tickets-89892207011
