The Antidote to Stress (in-person event)

“Pain is inevitable; suffering is optional.” We generate our own stress and suffering by how we use the mind … or, more accurately, how we misuse the mind. There are various ways of working with this; in this session, we’ll examine and practice with one of the most powerful methods.

The format will be similar to our previous meetups: some quick intros, a brief talk called “The Antidote to Stress,” a 25ish-minute sitting, and time for Q+A and general discussion.

*** LOCATION ***
We’ll be meeting in the Watertown Savings Bank room on the first floor of the Watertown Public Library. The room is down the hallway right by the main desk. Feel free to bring cushions, pillows, etc. for our sitting, and there are chairs available if that’s preferred.
