The Limits of Control
April 20, 2019 @ 2:15 pm - 3:45 pm
Having total control over things can seem like a comfortable, ideal state. Ironically, it’s also a state in which we can never actually be free.
This third and final part of the Control Freak series will uncover the source of genuine freedom. This works as a standalone session; attendance at previous sessions is not necessary.
The format will be similar to our previous meetups: some quick intros, a brief talk called “The Limits of Control,” a 30-minute sitting, and time for Q+A and general discussion.
**LOCATION**
This event will take place in the Charles River Room at the Watertown Center for Healing Arts. Please use the 17 Spring St. entrance (NOT the 22 Mount Auburn St. entrance) — there’s a large parking lot on that side for CVS and other businesses, and once you come in that entrance, just go up the stairs and we’re in the large room next to the small kitchen area.
Feel free to bring your own cushion; there will also be various blankets, bolsters, and chairs available.
I’m looking forward to sharing and sitting with you all once again!
