Holding Space for Grief
May 2, 2020 @ 2:15 pm - 3:45 pm

I’m seeing more and more signs that many of us are moving into a grieving stage of our collective experience. Loss is perhaps the most painful example of the law of impermanence described by the Buddha, and confronting it is profoundly difficult. Learning how to make space for grief – whether for the loss of a person, a belief, or a way of life – is a necessary, load-bearing pillar of insight meditation practice if we are to be free of suffering.
This session will be similar to our previous meetups: some quick intros, a brief talk, a 30ish-minute sitting, and time for Q+A and general discussion.
